It is hard for me to believe that three weeks have passed since I moved back to America! My return “home” has been one of the most fascinating transitions that I have ever encountered. Experiencing the familiar sights, sounds, and smells through the lens of my new adventures has been equal parts exciting and daunting. I have been intentional about guarding my first weeks home, giving myself the needed room to process through my transition. I find that in the stillness, my ears are more attuned to hear the Voice of The Lord as I seek Him for direction on what my next season will look like.

I am so grateful for the patience and understanding of my friends and family as I gradually make the leap back into all things America. As the old saying goes, “home is where the heart is.” I know there is a piece of my heart that will always belong with my new friends in Wales and the United Kingdom, so I guess that I have another wonderful “home” to add to the list.

One of the predominant themes in my transition has been unpacking. From sorting through literal suitcases, to realizing new concepts and ideas, it has been a season of organization, prioritization, and opportunity.

With my rediscovery of the elusive phenomenon known as “spare-time,” I have been developing old and new creative ideas at a rapid pace. I am really excited to share the fruits of this God-orchestrated creative explosion with you in the coming weeks and months. In fact, you are presently experiencing one of the latest results of my “unpacking!” The rebranding and redesign of the Conquering Kingdoms website has been months in the making (at least in my own head) and I am really pleased with the new layout, logos, and content.

I believe that The Lord is positioning the platform of Conquering Kingdoms to step into new spheres of influence, and I can’t wait to share the journey with you. Be sure to check back frequently for updates. The journey is only just beginning!
